| 3 Sisters 1976 These photos of my sisters and me were taken in 1976. That's Lisa "the little sister"or "Heetsa babe" as she is sometimes affectionately called on the left. The photo on the right is of Sherry "the middle sister" nicknamed "Tezel" and me Lynn aka CrusinAngel aka "Lynniepoo" !! (lol) I gave my sisters their "nicknames" and Lisa gave me the "Lynniepoo" !(lol) When Sherry was an infant the telephone repairman was at our house, I told him "I have a new sister, her name is "Tezel"!" Who knows in a 4 yr olds mind where that came from! (lol) And I'm sure the "Heetsababe" came from someone I heard saying "Lisa babe"! (lol) |

| Johnny & Marie "Poppy" & "Maw" 1952 Back when on Mother's Day, Grandpa still bought Grandma a corsage to tell her how important she was and how proud he was of her. These are my maternal grandparents. I gave "Poppy" his name and he swore none of the other kids were going to call him that but me! Well, we all called him "Poppy" and he grew to love it more every time he heard it! They both hailed from Pennsylvania and moved to the Western NY area during WWII with their 2 beautiful daughters. Sadly,Poppy passed away in 1994 . Maw is still going strong though and turned 90yrs old in September 2002. I look at her and know "I come from good stock"!! LOL We have celebrated 5 generations several times over in our family. I can only pray that my life will be as full and healthy as my ancestors has been. |
