| The Truckers Prayer Dear Lord, as I wake to the morning light, Give me the ability to do this job right. Walk beside me as I do my pre-trip inspection, There are families traveling the highways depending on my rigs perfection. As I climb into this big old cab and grab the wheel. Lord please sit beside me, your presence I must feel. As I pull out onto the boulevard and hit the open highway, Give me an eagle eyes view and keep my mind from going astray. Lord as I travel from sea to shining sea, Let me appreciate all the beauty this world has to offer me. Lord I pray that all the people, I come in contact with today, across this land, Will know I did my best to keep them safe guided by your hand. Dear Lord, at the end of my day as I crawl into my bunk, you at my side, Let my dreams be peaceful, let me rest well and be ready for my next ride.
