Website History
This website was first thought about by Webmaster 2 sometime during the Christmas Holidays of 1999. Around the Millenium celebrations, he told me about his idea since there weren't any sites that one can look for pictures of Antoinette Enciso, or Orange Aberin.
By the middle of January we were testing various looks and came up with the name, "College Chicks Manila," with the intention that it could be a trading post of sorts for college guys. The first page came up during the first week of February after we were able to scan a grad pic of Orange Aberin. Yes, if Menelaus' wife Helen launched a thousand ships, Orange Aberin's beauty unknowingly launched this pioneering website and to a lesser extent the others that followed in our path. We officially launched on February 14, 2000, since our site was a tribute page and we thought of Valentine's as a good launch date for such. By around that time we had pages on Nicole Hernandez, Antoinette Enciso, Bianca Araneta, Jean Rodriguez and Carmen Delgado.
By March 2000 updates included pages on Amina Aranaz, K Tatlonghari and Patty Morato.
Around April of 2000, after word and text messages got around and we were registering thousands of hits, we expanded to include a High School and Alumnae section. On April 24th, we found it more appropriate to rename our site, "Crush ng Bayan." Since we liked the animated gif of a chick trying to fly and we felt the same way during our fledgling months, we retained it until our June 2002 re-design when we felt that it wouldn't go with our "jelly buttons." Updates that month included:

- high school grad pic of Carmen Delgado
- a new pic of Nicole Hernandez

By July 2000, we decided to put up a Groups section since more and more pictures that were submitted to us were group pictures. |

On October 2000 we changed URLs from www.geocities.com/collegechicks_ph to our present www.geocities.com/crushngbayan_ph. Updates from then on are as follows:
