Standing Firm

And Jesus went about all the cities
and villages, teaching in their synagogues,
and preaching the gospel of the kingdom,
healing every sickness and every
disease among the people.

But when He saw the multitudes,
He was moved with compassion
on them, because they fainted, and
were scattered abroad, as sheep
having no shepherd. then saith
He unto His diciples,
"The harvest is plentious,
but the labourers are few:
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the
harvest, that He will send forth
labourers into His harvest."
St. Matthew 9:35-38

Jesus was going forth doing the very
same things that He has commanded
us to do...teaching...preaching the
gospel of the kingdom..healing every
sickness and every disease, among
the people. Not just a few, but everyone!!
There are times when we go into a crowd
or a meeting of a goup of people, and
it doesn't take long to know if that group
of people are being taught the
Whole Word of God.

Jesus had compassion on them
because they were a group of people
that were not sure what direction
they were coming or going in.

They did not have a shepherd to
lead them. That's why it is so
important for a shepherd to teach
their flock the Whole Word,and
not watered down, sugar coated
words that will send people
straight to hell! Let's be careful
that we teach the Pure Word of God.
If we don't, then the sheep are
wonderers, going to and fro never
getting close to getting off the milk
and onto the meat of the Word.

We are just like a baby being born
into the world..after a while the
milk is not enough....they start
wanting fruits and vegatables
and then the meats.....it takes this
to receive the vitamins and mineral
for this body to grow.

When we don't receive them, the
body becomes malnutricioned.
We have to have the complete
diet and exercise to allow the body
AND mind to grow and be strong
mentaly and physically.
And that is the way it is when
we become born again into
the Kingdom of God.

We have too many watered down
sermons, and sugar coated
messages that's put forth, letting
the deacon board (I'm not saying
we don't need deacons, I'm not
saying that at all) or the big money
givers tell us what we can and
cannot preach and teach.

(And I'm not saying we shouldn't
give money or scoff at those that can
give big money, Praise the Lord, f
or givers, that is what we are to do).
I'm just saying, that should not
determine what and how we preach
and teach....in other words, not be
afraid of offending them if we preach
the Whole Word of God.

We need to stand bold on the Word
and God will take care of the rest.
It's time we stood with boldness
and declare the Pure Word of God!
Then we can see people receive true
Salvation and not just a "I think so"
or "I hope so" religion.

Jesus said "I am the way, the truth
and the life." He is the only way we
can enter into heaven, because He is
the door. Jesus said that we could
know for certain that we had been
born again. Jesus didn't hide behind
anyone to preach the gospel.
He didn't say "I think it's this"
or "maybe it's this"....He said, He
spoke what He heard His Father
speak and did those things
which He saw His Father do.

He didn't have to report to any one
but His Heavenly Father.
(That's the one we have to answer
to, also) Now...how do we do this?
We study His word, seek wisdom
and understanding from the Father,
then we stand boldly, and declare the
whole council of His word, and fear
no man who can destroy the body,
but fear Him that can destroy both
body and soul.
Jesus is the one that we have to
stand before in judgement.
If it is written in the Word of God,
then we are to preach and teach
it......if it is not written in the Word
of God, then we leave it alone!!
We will have to give an account
for the way we lead the people,
as it is so easy to lead one
astray. So let us be carefull and
rightly divide the Word of God and
help lead people to Christ Jesus.

It warns us in the book of Jerimiah,
"wo unto the shepherd that
scattereth the flock".....so let us be
careful that we bring
the flock in and not scater them.

We can do that if we stand boldly
and proclaim the whole word.
We are told in His word that we
can come before the throne boldly...
so why can't we preach the Pure
Word boldly? Let us take the word
as it is written and seek the face of God......
then stand boldly and firm on what
God has given us, and then and only
then can we need with God.
