In Times Like These
For we wrestle not against
flesh and blood, but
against principalities,
against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness
of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.
~Ephesians 6:12 ~
If we could only realize in our
hearts just who the enemy is...
then it is not at hard to deal
with things.
We are not fighting against
people..even though
we may think that we are.....
as people are used by
the Lord....there are people
that are used by satan.
There are many spirits,
but only one true spirit,
and that is from God.
That is why He said to try
the spirits to see if they
are of God or not.
We need to realize who we
are in Christ..When we come
to Jesus and receive salvation,
then Jesus gives us the
authority to use His name.
That is why the word tells us
that we can do all things thru
Christ which strengtheneth us...
we can do nothing with out the
Lord, but we can do all
things thru Him.
When adversaries comes
against us, we must go to
the Lord, and not away from
Him, like Adam and Eve.
We can take back that which
satan has stolen from us......
peace, joy, happiness,
contentment, broken homes
put back to gether,
broken hearts mended,
the sick healed and
what ever God has given us.
Our way of thinking is that we
have to pray to God for
everything, most of the time
we do need to.....but Jesus
gave us the authority over satan
and his powers.
We just need to use wisdom in
using this authority. Jesus
gave us the authority to use
His name to make satan flee.
We just need to realize just what
our position in the Lord is.
May we always keep our hearts
and minds upon the Lord,
seek Him first and then we will be
able to withstand the
things that are going on around us.
