| Epilogue Part One Its been two years. But I still cant bring myself to think about anything else. Vanessa said. You have to move on though. You know how much he loved you. He would want you to be happy, Vanessa. Tawny replied. How can I be happy when the one person Ive ever loved is gone? Vanessa wondered out loud, clutching a picture of Justin. Time, Vanessa. Time will heal your wounds. Tawny said encouragingly. I hope so. Vanessa sighed. I hope so. * * * All rise. The judge ordered, banging her gravel. The jury has granted the defendant, Joshua Chasez, parole from his life sentence for the murder of Justin Timberlake. Josh sank back in his seat, grinning wildly. His lawyer patted him on the back. Congratulations. He said, beaming and thinking about the large sum that was waiting for him. Josh stood up and watched as his handcuffs were taken off. Im free. He said to himself, smiling. Im free. I do. Sara said, clutching Lances hand. You may now kiss the bride. The minister said, smiling. The two locked into a passionate kiss, before pulling away and heading toward the cake and dancing. I love you, Sara. Lance told her, looking deep into her eyes. Sara smiled back at him. I love you, too. * * * Amanda and Precious were watching a Tom Green movie and cracking up in the process. Daddy would you like some sausage? Amanda shrieked, and they both burst out laughing once again. In the last few years, the two had gotten extremely close. In fact, they were now best friends. They lived together in a spacious apartment, and amused each other constantly. Jewel, Preciouss baby lived with them. Just then the phone rang. Hello? Precious asked, still giggling. Hello Precious. A husky, disguised voice answered. Who-whos there? Precious asked. Instantly, her blood froze in her veins, and she began to shiver violently. Something about that voice made her uneasy. There was something-something that she didnt trust. Let me talk to Amanda. The voice rasped. Amanda glanced up. Who is it? Precious shook her head and shrugged her shoulders, a worried look on her face. She handed Amanda the phone. Hello? Who is this? Amanda asked. Its me. Who-hello? A dial tone was heard. Amanda hung up the phone. Do you have any idea who that was, Precious? She asked. Precious shook her head, frightened. Both girls jumped when the phone rang again loudly, cutting through the silence. This time Amanda grabbed it. Who is this? She demanded. A shadowy figure moved behind them, and they whirled around. Its me. It was Josh. |
