My Review: Absolutely incredible. I haven't anticipated a release of a CD in a long time! The first time I heard "Hanging By A Moment", I called the station that played it to find out who it was. The song was new and they told me it was Lifehouse, "hanging by a moment". I tried to find info on them, and eventually found out from CDNOW.com that the cd would be released at the end of October. When they first came out I couldn't even find the song on Napster. When asked my favorite song, no one had heard of it. Now that the CD is out tons of people I know have jumped on the Lifehouse Bandwagon, so why haven't you??
The CD is full of lyrics about self-discovery and if you pay attention to them, almost every song will make you go "I went through that" or "I know what that feels like". The songs are about self discovery and can mean something different to everyone. They are really open for your own interpretation, which makes them even better. A song can mean one thing one day but the next after a certain experience it can mean something completely different.
The band is very young and fresh, the lead singer, Jason Wade, is only 20 years old and extremely talented. They are learning and growing as artists so I have no doubt they will only continue to get better.
Haven't heard of them? Well hopefully this gave you an idea of what they are about. Now, they are a ROCK group, not pop. Although, I'm surprised there song has not made it onto the "pop" stations. The single hit #1 on the billboards for Modern Rock Track. Would you like to hear them?
