What's Really Going On??

So what is going on between Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake?  No one really knows.  Rumors are flying about the two and I don't know what to believe anymore.  I'd love to believe what the two are saying but the actions of the two seem to go against everything that comes out of the two's mouths.  While I'm not saying Britney and Justin are going out and I don't know either one of them, so don't take anything I say *too* seriously.  This is just me venting and letting out my opinion.
  This morning I heard a report saying that Britney and Justin went to a club together in New York.  Britney was sitting on Justin's lap and the two were sharing a cigarette!  What's up with that?  The two are *singers* so yeah they'll just smoke so they can screw over their voice and careers then die young of lung cancer.  I would think the two would have more common sense than that...it would, however, explain the slowly declining quality of Brit's voice and inability to actually *sing* at concerts.
  I'm not sure about Britney because I don't really pay attention to her but I know that Justin supposedly hates people who smoke.  It seems extremely hypocritical of him.  Anyway, I'm going to get to the point.
  If Justin and Britney are going out why won't they just tell the truth about it?  Do they think that the fans won't support them?  Have I, myself, influenced their decision to keep it quiet?  If I have I would feel horrible.   While I may not be a Britney fan i am a fan of *N Sync and Justin, in fact he is my favorite from the group because of MMC, his incredible talent and powerful voice along with some other reasons...those who know me understand.  I would support the two *completely*, if the two are happy with each other than that is good enough for me.  Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson have come out about their relationship and the two are doing extremely well and they have both recieved tremendous support.  Does Justin and/or Britney feel that their fans won't do the same?  If they aren't going out and they are telling the truth...oops!  I don't know what to believe and either way is fine with me!  I just don't appreciate being pulled around like this, all I have to say is President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.
  Now I'm not saying that this will amount to anything near the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal but I can guarentee if President Clinton just told the truth from the beginning the issue never would have gotten so many people upset, yes he still did something wrong but by telling the truth he could have avoided some situations.  Now this seems like an odd thing to compare it to but I'm trying to make a point.  Brit and Justin, the longer you wait (if you are going out) to tell the truth about it the worse it's gonna be when it all comes out. 
  Talking to friends of mine now everyone is convinced that it's all rumors and maybe they are but what if they aren't?  So many people have made themselves believe that nothing is going on and the longer they may stay in denial the worse it will be.  For all I know the two could just be friends but I do feel that something is going on, even if they aren't officially "together" something is probably going on.  Keeping a relationship on the road is difficult but if the two are together they may see each other and spend time together and do "coupley" things.
  Wow, look how off subject I am!  Back to the thing: Britney and Justin...smoking???  Now if they had any common sense they wouldn't get involved in this.  It will only lead to a diminishing career in an already fickle business and death.  The two are supposed to be role models and are looked up to by little children.  I have met someone online who is an incredible *N Sync fan who was able to quit smoking by thinking of the members.  She knew that *N Sync disliked smoking women so she quit, just in case one day she meets them.  I've also heard of people choosing not to smoke when pressured because of the desire to stay "likeable" by *N Sync.  To see Justin go against what he had said was a bit painful.  It makes you wonder what else are they not telling the truth about?  So guys, what's going on??

***I'm not sure if any of this is true and PLEASE don't go running around saying Justin is gonna die of lung cancer or something, I posted this because it's how I feel.  If you can confirm this is or is not true please let me know.  I'm not trying to support the rumors but I needed to let this all out.  Thanks for listening and stay *N SYNC!***
