ASSESSMENT OUTCOMES FOR 2005 - 2006

In accordance with the school�s policy of involving parents in the education of their children, in those cases where parents consider the curriculum provision is not satisfactory they are welcome to express their concerns. This should be done in accordance with the following procedure:

(a) Contact the Principal. If necessary the Principal will arrange a meeting with the class teacher in the case of specific complaints.

(b) If the situation is unresolved ask the Principal to refer the matter to the Chairman of the Board of Governors.

(c)� If the Chairman of the Board of Governors fails to resolve the matter it should be referred to the North-Eastern Education and Library Board.�

Assessment
All children are continuously assessed by a variety of means. In addition there is formal end of Key Stage assessment in place with results validated by CCEA ( Council for the curriculum, examinations and assessment).
