ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR CHILDREN STARTING YEAR 1 AT OR AFTER THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR 2006-2007 |

If the school�s enrolment and admissions numbers have not been reached the school will enrol all the children of school age whose parents wish them to attend, providing such admissions would not prejudice the efficient use of resources within the school. If either of these numbers are exceeded the Governors will use the following criteria in deciding which pupils should be admitted.������ |
1. Children of the compulsory school age for Northern Ireland. 2. Children who are resident in Northern Ireland at the time of their proposed admission. 3. Children who reside in Crumlin and its environs including the traditional catchment area of the school. 4. Children who have brothers or sisters attending the school. 5. If all the above are equal the earliest date of application for admission (using the official form) will be considered a deciding factor. |

There will normally be only one date of admission to Y1 in September of each year unless a child is transferring from another school. |
2006/07 Information. 38 children were admitted from 42 applications 2005/06 Information. 41 children were admitted from 46 applications 2004/05 Information. 40 children were admitted from 40 applications. |
53 places with discretion to 58 if the overall enrolment figure of 374 is not reached. There is a legal class size limit of 30 in P1-P4 |
