CRUMLIN PRIMARY NEWS All parents will receive a newsheet called Crumlin Primary News, usually once a month but more often when there is specific news to relate.� The newsheet may contain important information on e.g. school closures, interview dates, forthcoming events.� The newsheet is given to every child so please try to ensure that yours does not end up in residence in your child�s schoolbag for the year.� Any changes to the prospectus information will be in these newsheets. PARENTS TEACHERS ASSOCIATION There is an enthusiastic PTA. The committee is elected in October to organise social events throughout the year.� The PTA fundraising activities are of great benefit to the school. INFORMATION NOTES Occasional short information notes or date reminders are also issued when communication is vital and time scarce. |

USE OF PHONE BY PUPILS Pupils phoning home about forgotten items, etc. must be charged 20p per local call.� Emergency calls are, of course, free. |
ABSENCE NOTES It is essential to send a note to school if your child has been absent, as attendance is monitored by the Educational Welfare Officer.� Please inform the school if your child will� be absent for holidays etc. NOTE : �It is school policy to issue revision work only to those children who are absent due to extended illness.�Teachers are instructed not to issue work to those taking holidays during term time. ATTENDANCE Attendance in the past year was 94.74% |
