Guidelines
This is the place where you find out about MY rules for sending in fanfiction. Please read over these rules CAREFULLY. Anything not matching the criteria will not be posted. The rules are pretty lenient, and I have tried not to tell you how to write the stories. The only reason I have some of these rules is because I want as many people as possible able to view this site. Have fun!
---- All stories must be based on an ANIME SHOW. Since this is what my site is mostly featuring, I cannot very well put up any fanfictions of Friends, The Simpsons, etc. These would only ruin the effect of my site.
---- The fic can be about any anime show you wish. It does not necessarily have to be a show featured on my site. For instance: it can be about Ah! My Goddess, etc.
---- Anime is short for Japanese Animation. Stories based on Japanese animation shows are the only ones that I will accept. No American cartooning! I really do not like some of the cartoons America has out today, so please stick to anime!
---- This rule used to say no manga fics, but I will be accepting them now.
---- No obscene, hentai, or yaoi/yuri stories will be accepted. As soon as a come across one of these things in a fic, I will STOP reading and not post it. Think of it this way: All stories must remain PG-13 or under. (Okay, mild language MAY be over looked, but I want them to be readable to as many viewers as possible)
---- You can warp the stories as much as you want! These fics do not need to follow the show! It would be nice if you kept the character's personalities, but I don't care what you have them do in the fic (as long as you follow the above rules). For example: You may write a story about the Gundam Boys fighting Barney the Dinosaur. Be creative!
---- I LOVE stories that focus on new, or minor characters! In other words: the story does not have to focus on the main characters of the show. Create your own characters, or even give a minor character a chance to be in the spotlight! The stories can even focus on the bad guy.....fwahahahaha!
---- One last rule: please do not write any stories that kill off the majority of the characters featured. They can suffer as much as you want them to I suppose, and I will allow some dramatic killing off of characters, but don't make your story a total massacre...please! And please don't make the death scenes, etc overly gory or graphic.
Well...those are all the rules I can think of. If you are itching to show your creative side off to others, please send it in to me! Please e-mail me all of your work. Also note that all stories will be checked and edited for spelling or grammar. Please save me the time and check your work before you send it in.
