Characters
Goku:
Goku is the main hero/character of the entire series. He is constantly becoming more and more powerful with every episode. He goes from an incredible young boy, to a very powerful adult, then a Super Sayan, and even past that! He is tall, buff, and has unruly black hair. Whenever the Earth is in danger, he is always there to defend it. He is not invincible, however, and he does get killed a time or two. Later in the series he gets married to ChiChi, one of the most powerful women on Earth. Even though she is weaker than Goku, he always listens to her when she asks him to do something. It is almost as if she is the King of the household! Together they have a son, Gohan, who follows in his father's footsteps. Goku's personality is very easygoing and goofy, but he can also be very serious if he wants to. His heart is true and he is always being commended for his good deeds. Even though he is the most powerful man on Earth...maybe in the Universe...he still remains very modest. His special move is either Kamehemeha or Spirit Bomb.
Gohan:
Gohan takes after his father in being unusually powerful. Even as a baby he was very strong...one time he even flew through a tree, and was totally fine! He looks a lot like his father, too. He has a very kind heart, but when he was just very small he was somewhat of a....whimp. He kept chickening out, even when his friends needed him the most. He felt guiltier and guiltier as he grew older, and he thought that he had caused the deaths of Krillen, Piccolo and even Goku. With this in mind he always felt like he needed to make up for his mistakes. Eventually he becomes a Super Sayan...just like his daddy. He is always very serious, but he also knows how to have fun! Oh yeah...and when he gets angry he doesn't hesitate to blow things up.
Krillen:
Krillen is Goku's childhood best friend. He is bald, has six perfectly lined up dots on his forehead, and is unusually short for his age. He is one of the weakest in the entire group, and he knows it. For this reason he usually tries to avoid battles with more powerful opponents. He gets killed about 3 or 4 times in the entire series, but is always brought back to life for a reason only the writers know. He is sometimes a coward, but can also be brave if needed. He is sort of the comic relief of the show, and is constanly being clumsy. His special move is Destructo Disc.
Vegeta:
Vegeta starts out as the enemy Sayan who wants to destroy the Earth. However, after a few fights with Goku, he ends up fighting on Earth's side. He is medium sized, buff, and also has big, black hair. He is self-centered, stuck up, sometimes foolish, and VERY power hungry. He strives to be the best, but is always outdone by Goku, or "Kakeraut" as Vegeta calls him. Later in the series he marries Bulma, and they together have Trunks.
Piccolo:
Piccolo is a Namik who used to be evil, and wanted to destroy the Earth. However, after being defeated by Goku, he was split into two parts. The other half of him is Kame. He is tall, green, serious about everything, and is thin. He becomes good again, and takes up the task of training Gohan while Goku is with King Kai. He and Gohan have a special father/son relationship, and Gohan even starts dressing him. Late in the series Piccolo joins with Kame to become more powerful. His special attack is Special Beam.
Trunks:
Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta. He is also very strong, and becomes a Super Sayan at a very young age. He is somewhat tall, has lavender colored hair (sort of like the color of this text), and he is buff. Trunks is very serious, and also very modest. Sometimes he gets a really goofy look on his face, though. He feels like he needs to impress his father, or at least get Vegeta's approval of his powers. At one time in the series, Trunks becomes more powerful than Vegeta. However, he tries to hide his power so that his father won't dislike him even more. His favorite moves are done with his sword.
Other Good Guys:
Yamcha, Kame, Mr. Popo, Master Roshi, King Kai, Tien, the funny mime dude whose name I don't know, Bulma, Chichi, Bulma's family, and Chichi's father.
Bad Guys:
Freesa, Cell, Goku's older brother, Freesa's father, the androids (including 16, 17, and 18), Dr. Jerome, Dr. Willow, and a whole lot of other aliens (like the ones who brought the evil Tree to Earth).
