This page is dedicated to my truck, all its features, & future plans. Thanks for coming by and visiting my page.
Give this page alittle time to load, there is a couple of pictures on it, Thanks.
since Jan.31,1998.
This is the way my truck looked back when I first got it. It was blue, had the whole engine compartment chrome plated, cragar wheels, 350 cu.in. with 3 speed standard tranny, & pic on tailgate. I was 14yrs.old, I taded a 74 blazer 4x4 even trade for it.
One sunday night, coming home from cruising the local strip. I had head-on collision with a 4x4 blazer, who tried to get to a gas station on my side of the street. I left a 35 foot skip mark as I tried to stop to avoid this idiot. Well the picture tells the story, nothing happened to the truck I hit, as I went under the front bumper & absorded the total impact. This nonetheless totally destroyed the chrome engine compartment: valve covers, fan, pulleys, radiator holders, hood hinges & latch, the inner fenders & steel fan shroud.
After this accident my truck ended up primered. I figured I could do the things I wanted to do to it since the begining without the fear of messing up the chrome. As you read along, you'll see what I mean.
My truck was a utility truck with storage boxes on the side of the bed (instead of having side fenders). Similiar to the truck pic above. My truck was a work truck for many years. The truck was as basic as they came in 68, it had a 6cylinder, 3-speed standard, a heater, no power steering, no radio, no power brakes.
I'm the 4th or 5th owner, the first owner was a electric company. Back then my truck was blue, had alot of chrome under the hood, had Cragar wheels, chain steering wheel, torn up interior, 8-track tape, bad oil leak, etc. I was in the 8th grade, couldn't drive yet (no license). The truck remained in my back yard for about 2 years until I got my license.
It's been 16 years now , I still have my truck. Here are some pics of my truck.
I usually primer my truck about twice a year, often I go from solid primer to some sort of graphics.

This primer scheme was my favorite of all the schemes I used on my truck it sported dark gray body with white flames. Used this scheme for a year (july98 to july 99). Well, I went back to solid gray again.
This is the latest primer scheme. It consists of dark grey body with red scallops outlined in light grey.
Future plans: cowl induction hood,(billet grille-done June 99), hydraulic tilt frontend, A/C, (power brakes-done June 98'), air bag suspension, dancing bed, & a badass paint job.
This is a rear view of my truck. The tail gate has 4-rows of louvers. The wing is from a mid 80's Trans Am. The taillights are from 64 1/2 to 66 Mustang.

This is the lifting rack for my tilt bed setup. It's heavy duty & strong, this rack used to be part of a tommy lift gate, ( so I was told by the person a bought it from).
Things I've put on my truck: tilt frontend, tilt bed, new rims, 74 Monte Carlo rearend, power steering (78 Chevy pu gearbox), dropped spindles (73 Chevy pu), centerlink & tie rods (same year), 79 Chevy 350 cu.in., TH375 tranny (similiar to the TH400), tilt steering (75 Monte Carlo), power windows (85 Chev Silverado), heater unit (59 Chev pu), radiator (55 Chev pu), 3 duece intake manifold, chrome valve covers, chrome water pump, chrome pulleys (upper & lower), chrome alternator & bracket, chrome Mallory coil, flex fan, Mallory Unilite Ignition, chrome starter, shorty headers, flowmasters, chrome front & rear control arms, diamond tucked black cloth interior, sunroof, plywood bed cover, bed wing (mid 80's Trans Am), louvered tailgate, 66 Mustang taillights, are some of my trucks features. June 98 I have installed power brakes on my truck. June 99, I installed a phamtom billet grille.
What If???? You had unlimited amount of cash to do outrages things to your truck, imagine the possibilities.
Over the years, I'ved learned what not to do to avoid accidents. For example, like when braiding fuel lines, use new lines, instead of using the old line. And even after you used new one's, remember to replace them after a period of time, because they tend to crack. I had a problem with this in the past, here is pictures of the burn marks on my truck. Hard Lesson Learned!
