Dear
Friends and Supporters: Cruisers For Kids has kicked off preparations for our third annual fundraising event. I am proud to announce that our recipient charities for the March 15, 2003 event are the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Simon Youth Foundation, the Russell Home, and the House Of Hope. Information about these fine charities can be found at their web pages; we have provided a link to each charity's web page on our homepage. The
March 2003 event will again take place at the Waterford Lakes Town Center
thanks to the generosity of Simon Properties.
The Cruisers For Kids staff is hard at work to get the
flier/registration form out. Hopes
are that it will be available in time for the Turkey Rod Run in November.
Mercury Printing has agreed to donate their services again this
year, and we are working with Redd Paper Company for them to donate the
paper needed. I
prepared a letter soliciting donations and asked staff members to
distribute them to potential supporters. If
you receive this letter, please help as much as you can. This year we will feature “Big
Al” as our D.J. The show
area has been re-distributed to provide better access to vendors and to
put “Big Al” closer to the center of activities.
Cruisers For Kids booths will be conveniently located to facilitate
the coordination of raffle and 50/50 ticket sales, polo shirt sales, and
photo/CD pick up. The
show shirt this year will be a polo shirt instead of a t-shirt; we hope
that attendees will appreciate having a collar and a shirt pocket! Cruisers For Kids staff meets at 7:00 P.M. on the second Wednesday of each month in the offices of JHT Inc. 15301 Ingenuity Drive, suite 300, Orlando FL. Everyone is invited to attend. Please call Jack Smith (407) 381-7797 during the day or (407)365-9984 evenings for directions. |
