1954

This car was the first Chevrolet that I bought. I was fourteen years old and I thought I was in heaven.
The rear axle was broken, but I found another on a car not far from home.
The only thing that were whole one that car was the rear axle.

One day, I thought I ought to try starting the engine. I tryed, and I tryed but the engine wouldn´t start.
In the 54 Chevrolet the battery are 6 volt only. The 55 Chevrolet has a 12 volt battery.
Three weeks earlier I have bought a 1955 Chevrolet. Now it standing in the garage with a new battery in it. Of course I can loan that, I think. But when I took it out off the car I dropped it on the floor. SPLISH SPLASH You can imagine what happen. The battery was gone to the batteryheaven.

Now I checked what was wrong with the car when it want start. When I check the distributor I saw that the rotor was missing. Holy shit.I have forget to place the rotor where it belong. I place the rotor in the distributor, and try to start the engine. Now it started and run very good.

I tryed to drive it. The gear in reverse, the clutch up and half gas.
The seat were loose so I fall back and couldn´t rich the brake.

Unfortunately, a tree were standing in the way.

CRASH

The left rear fender was no more. I shouldn´t have get out of the bed that day!
