Jim Sala is a Program Faculty Instructor at Texas State University in San Marcos.
He holds a B.A. degree from the University of Missouri Columbia.
He holds an M.F.A. degree in Writing from Texas State.
Jim was the head of the Houston Screenwriting Workshops from 1996-98. He worked for the Barnes and Noble Online Writing Workshops. He has worked for various companies teaching creative writing workshops and screenwriting workshops. Jim was the head of the Casting Audition Workshop, in collaboration with Don Finn from Mali Finn, CSA in Hollywood from 1992-1998. He is the author of these fiction works:
