Alice By: Michael Dykhoff 3/22/02 Alice fell down the rabbit hole, To leave a life that felt so dull. Screaming and screaming as she fell, Going down far below hell. When she hit the ground, There was nothing around. But a vile of acid was sure to be found. Out of her world, she didnt miss much. But in this strange land, she was out of touch. Then ahead of her she saw a door. She swung it open, waiting for more. Walking down a spiral dirt road, She ate a mushroom and felt it explode. In the distance there was a party going on. A man with a hat was smoking the lawn. Mad from murcury such an inquisitive quack. If she stayed with him she'd never get back. She ran away far from there. Laughing and floating, she didnt care. Then out of the corner of her eye shed see. Hideous twins: Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dee. Maybe its the mushroom she said. They arent real; its all in my head. But when they spoke she thought twice. One held out its hand and offered her mice. Get me out of here she started to scream. I dont want to be part of this nightmarish dream. She ran and ran till she couldnt anymore. Trying to find the door she used before. Then a worm came by, he was quite a guy. He asked her questions and got her high. She was back to where it started but didnt care. She wanted a second drag, but he wouldnt share. Laughing and rolling through grass and roses, She noticed they had eyes, mouths, and noses. A pretty red one said, Run away and dont be seen, Or your head will be property of the queen. But by then it was too late, Alice knew shed met her fate. This Queen of broken hearts always saw red. The only type of people she appreciated were the dead. She chased away Alice's sanity and dreams. In wonderland nothings what it seems.
