My miniature painting is very detailed. I have two 'levels' of painting, the first being less detailed than the second. Setting and background are respected almost maniacally, every emblem and uniform is accurately depicted. Bases are made with the same cure. They can recreate many kinds of terrain, depending on the setting the customer likes to put the miniature in. Firearms barrels are always pieced, in order to give a more true-life feeling to the whole piece. I am inclined to paint differently faces and skins, depending on the race. For example, I paint a dwarf in a somehow 'dark and dirt' way, whereas an elf will be more 'bright and clean', a japanese with a different shade than an european, and so on. Nothing is left at random, every detail is stressed as much as possible.
Concerning miracles, I'm gearing up ;) . |
