What's a conversion?
A conversion is the alteration of a miniature, which can be minimal, like modifying the original posture, or more drastic, like the complete transformation of the miniature, both in posture and type.
For example, an imperial hero can be shaped into a privateer for Warhammer 40000, or a weapon can be switched with another one, or a running figure can be obtained from a static one, and much more.
Nowadays with the new modular sets sold by many companies it's hard to have one miniatuire identical to the other. Regaldless this, conversions give the possibility of creating unique and particular models.
