| 'Welcome! I must admit that I'm more than a little surprised that you came here. I suppose it might be the natural voyeur in us all. Not that I mean to offend by that, not in the least! After all, it takes a degree of exhibitionism to put up any sort of web site. Any time it displays works of fiction, creative artwork, personal thoughts, or maybe a thoughtful rant or two, then there has to be a peculiar desire to display the intimate. Of course, who really expects anyone to see it?' |

Jan. 06 - 2004Removed link to blogspot as site no longer exists -- but then, does anything? Also removed, in the Works by Mel section, the link to 'Ru-Mi-Oh' hosted on YFNSpiderAL's Web Site at his implied request. Dec. 07 - 2003Added the link to the 'WORKS BY MEL' section. Now includes Ru-Mi-Oh and some random images I have that she'll be mortified to see posted up. Fortunately, it may be sometime before she notices and demands they are taken down. Dec. 03 - 2003Add the first instalment of SHO'OUHGUI: Children of Ice and Fire. It is a replacement for DSNB that had too many limitations in that the characters were from real life. This provides a lot more leeway. |

"I always laugh at that bit in Hamlet where he pretends to despise himself because he unpacks his heart with words, and falls a-scolding like a very drab; that's why the soliloquy about suicide is just Hamlet putting on intellectual airs. A chatterbox like that would never pop himself off with a bare bodkin. No, the suicides are the quiet ones, who can't find the words to fit their misery." |
