full of patience and love
face lights up when I do right
frowns when I do wrong
You want me to follow you
You want me to love you
instead I turn my back upon you
walked away from and denied Your very existence
called you a myth, a fairy tail and a lie
Untrue I said
no such thing I insist
not real, no way I proclaim
You never once turned Your back on me
never walked away
never denied my existence or called me a myth or fairy tail
when I pushed away You would never give up on me
instead You  loved me and drew me close to You
You gave me more than I could imagine
You gave me life and hope
You gave me a chance to live forever with You
You gave me everything
when I gave you nothing
now it is my turn to give You everything
now I give You my heart
my soul
My life,
now I ask you to change me
change me to be like You
take my mind and change it
to think for You
take my heart
to love You with it wholly
take my voice
so it will speak for you
take my life
so I will live for you everyday
Watch over me
when I stray from You
bring me back to Your arms and Your love
