Today I got the urge for some serious fantasy booking, but I just don't know what I want to book. I thought about starting a new federation on TNM7, but I just don't know that it would be any different or any cooler than the BWA. If the EWA would ever get moving, I suppose I'd b able to fantasy book it, but it'd only be one card a week and I feel like booking several tonight.
I attempted to book some BWA excitement, but it's just not clicking. The 2nd Season just plain sucks. Chaz is the most over face on the roster, and thus will have to be pushed against the unbeatable and quite evil "Dangerous" Daniel Taylor, despite the BWA's rankings which is what I wanted to base title shots off this time around. Also, the midcard is being controlled by the Force and several other "Good Ol' Boys" like TK, X-Pac, and Justin Credible, which is all fine and good considering that I've exhausted all options with any other budding star out there. The Glass Ceiling is definitely still existent and the whole thing is just getting boring. No new talent to elevate, and the same old shit just keeps repeating itself over and over again. It looks like the 2nd Season is about to come to an end, and the BWA will finally rest in peace.
I am also attempting to book events on WWF No Mercy, but it just isn't as fun. Don't get me wrong though- the federation is doing wonderful. We have a very STRONG World Champ in Nick Kelly, who is just plowing through challengers, we have RVD and Scott Hall lighting up the IC Title picture, and the Tag belts are heavily feuded over by CRT/JRM, HBD&M, and the Force. But the everyone not mentioned above sucks except European Champ Maven, Lightweight Champ Jericho, and Tajiri, and midcard feuds are non-existent.
As for the EWA...it is coming along good I suppose, but I'm not sure it will last. Paul mercifully turned down an offer from Daz and opted to stay with the EWA, which is a good thing. I enjoy updating the site which is a damn good thing. But I just don't see much in the way of enjoyable booking when the fed gets started. I've got a great angle lined up as VP Nick Kelly with Shelley the Commish, playing Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, and Creature looks to return for one night only to defeat Maniac for the HCW Grand Slam at CyberSlam on April 21st. I hope to push Jack hard as a main event threat and a strong secondary or World Champion, but I don't know if the rest of the world will go along with it.
The WWF is recovering in this new booking year, and I hope its upward trend continues. Hogan, Hall, and Nash are God-sends no matter what that washed-up ol' Scott Keith says, but HHH as a face champion is most probably going to fail miserably. He's obviously becoming drunk with power, and I hope his power trip doesn't hinder any future heel turn from taking place, because he reeks as a face. I mean really, we all heard how big your penis was in 98' Game, time to move on. Oh, shut up with the "I proved to the world" bit. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FUCKING PROVE TO US ANYMORE!! One more note to HHH...how the hell is Jericho NOT at the main event level yet!?
Oh well. Even though he has been really boring and I've had enough of his little girlfriend for a long while, I'm not going to totally turn against him like every son of a bitch did on the Internet last year for no good reason. I am REALLY getting tired of the Smark community, and one of their most powerful leaders, Scott Keith. Thier negativity about EVERYTHING brings me down, and I just don't have time to sit around and be negative all the time like I used too.
You know who else has decided to become a bitch? Steve Austin. That poor man gets so down on himself everytime someone gets a louder pop than he does, or he doesn't main event a show, it is pathetic. He's down here in Texas right now crying and moping from what I hear. Oh, and fearing the nWo. Well good. It serves you right for becoming so DAMN LAME AUSTIN! You had an excellent year in 2001 and beat everyone in the fucking world and were awesome and all that shit, so just be happy with it. You ruled 97-99, and then again in 2001. Do you think Lance Storm or Benoit will EVER have a run anywhere near any of those? NO. So quit your bitching, Steve. Oh yeah, YOU SHOULD HAVE JOBBED TO SCOTT HALL!!!!!!
Alright, I guess that's all I have to say tonight. I don't really feel like fantasy booking anymore, but I might piddle with TNM7 some. Who knows what I'll do. I might play some Ghost Recon or Rogue Spear with Jack Duncan, but I'm not sure. I might even defend the Yahoo Pool Championship. Whatever.
