Creach's Thoughts

Kaji never knew what he had.

Greetings.  You all may notice the new woman at the top...remember I am omniscient, so please no dirty thoughts.  Today's subject is life and love.  Well not love.  Jack Duncan recently did a Thought on his philosphical views.  My sources tell me that it may be a series of Thoughts, which means we are all in for a very long, very sad ride.  But the Boisite did inspire me to wax philosophical...or at least to finally put some of my insane ideas in writing.  And so is born this thought.

There are several major questions one would ask oneself if they were born completely cognizant.  "What am I...Who am I...Where am I...Why am I here..." things like that.  In today's world, these questions are answered quickly and hammered home before we even develop the ability to ask these questions ourselves.  Early in life, we know the name arbitrarily assigned to us, we know where we live, and we understand that we have parents.  Depending on the parent, some children may even know how they were created through sex.  But one thing no one can ever really know is "Why am I here?"  Why do we exist...what is life...what is it's purpose.

First, let's all realize something.  We all have one thing in common, that being that we, along with every other living thing on Earth, along with the Earth itself, the Sun, the solar system, and the galaxy, will die.  We will all die, without a shadow of a doubt.  The galaxy will merge with Andromeda and create a super blackhole, the solar system's stars will all die and collapse, the Earth will be struck with meteors and eventually destroyed by the Sun...it's just the way it is.  So in essence...that is the purpose of life.  That is the ultimate destination.  To die.  Death.

But that's not a sufficient reason to exist.  If we all just lived to die, then I would not be writing this today.  So we all find ways to give our existence meaning.  One way for me is to ponder existence itself.  I'll always have a question to be answered, and so I'll always have purpose, until the day I...you guessed it...die.

So...that's the point of my philosophy.  To study and learn, and formulate the best ways to exist, through an understanding of existence.  Right.  Now let us begin with...God.

I am not a religious person.  You can often find me ranting on the evils of organized religion, and there are some good reasons for that.  Religion was created by man.  Plain and simple.  Early man sat around and stared up at the stars when he wasn't being eaten by a large beast or participating in his main activity...WALKING.  Now first off, let's realize that back in the day, the sky was very different.  Early man could see a lot more than we can, because early man wasn't so wasteful and stupid that he was screwing up the whole planet...more on that later.

Early man saw all sorts of neat things, and was able to pick out his favorite stars and watch them.  He saw them move with time, switch positions, grow brighter, grow darker, and he wondered.  He used his primitive imagination, and he wondered what could be happening.  Eventually he, and all his other little buddies, came up with all sorts of ideas about Gods moving the stars around, or the stars being their dead ancestors, or all sorts of things.  In the end, none of it was true.

Now you can all wave your Bibles, Torah, and Qu'rans (sorry for the spelling) at me angrily, and shout all your different little sayings, but in the end, you're only quoting men and books written by men- nothing more, nothing less.  I do not believe God has spoken to a living human being, and I do not believe he ever will.

I do however know there is a God.  I know there is a God, and I know there is an afterlife.  I know these things FOR FACT.  But unfortunately...my proof is worthless to all but me.  It all stems from one event which happened to me when I was 12 years of age, and I can expect NO ONE to believe that it happened or is a revelation of any kind.  It is useless to all but me.  So therefore...I cannot expect any of you to believe there is a God or afterlife because of what I say.

What I can do...is tell you to search for your own answers.  Perhaps you will have an experience which reveals something to you.  Perhaps you are an atheist.  Who knows.  It's completely up to you.  If you are a Christian, good.  If you are a Muslim, wonderful.  If you are a Rastafarian...hook me up.  All I can say is that I know there is a God and an afterlife, and hope that you DON'T take my word for it- to do so would be to go blindly into the night.

Now then...as far as my philosophy and this document goes, there is an after life and a  God.  But he is not an intervening God.  He would not under any circumstances reveal ANYTHING to ANYONE (bear in mind, my experience was not with GOD, it just confirmed in me his existence).  For God to reveal as much as the Bible and other religious texts claim would be to ruin everything.

Here- allow me to explain my entire concept of God and move on:

I believe that everything was a part of God, but that he created the Universe and life so that he could experience that which he knows- the Universe is all knowledge, the embodiment of logic, and so we live, experience, learn, and die, returning to him with what we did so that he can KNOW what it is like to live, rather than ASSUME what it would be like to live.

Alright.  With that rudimentary and rather rocky part out of the way...it's time to move on.  The Universe may have been created by the Big Bang, triggered by God.  I am inclined to think that the Universe works in cycles...it is created by a Big Bang of sorts, expands out rapidly, then all contracts back into one single point, and starts over.  There is no end to space and time, and no living beings will ever experience the contraction, because by the time of each one, everything will be so far expanded and such that no life could be sustained.

Life on Earth is not unique, I postulate.  There is plenty of intelligent extraterrestrial life I'm sure, and plenty of non-intelligent life as well.  It's doubtful at this point whether we will make official contact or ever completely leave Earth and live on other planets, but who knows what the future holds.  I'll discuss extraterrestrial life and the idea that nteraction of it with human beings has already occured in another thought.

Life on Earth also came about not by the "hand of God" or anything...it came about through evolution.  Eventually we'll find the "missing link" or something good enough to finish up the story of man's ascent from ape to human.  Now we get into some good items like souls and such.

Do human beings have souls?  Sure.  But that doesn't make us special.  I speculate, and it is of course pure speculation with a little of that "revelation" I experienced thrown in, that all living things with brains have souls.  I define a soul as life energy.  And I believe that that energy continues on after death, forever.  And of course...that energy is a part of God.

Anyway...the way I look at it...if it has a brain, it has a life energy or "soul", and it lives on after physical death.  The brain is an amazingly complex organ that we have only begun to tap into, and I feel in years to come we will discover more of its power.  I also figure that a "soul" is a lot more powerful than a brain, and so the level of intelligence is determined by the size and power of the brain...the brain is like a filter for the soul basically.

I also think that as far as "soul" types are concerned...a dog's life energy would be a lot less powerful than a human's.  If dogs suddenly evolved into creatures as intelligent as humans, then their energies would be as powerful.

Basically...the soul is created when the brain is, but it is sperated upon physical death.  The soul is and ultimately will be WAY more powerful than a physical brain ever could be, but the soul must grow at the same pace as the brain.  Basically...if you sit in front of the TV and waste away, you will not experience any spiritual or mental growth.  But if you go out and study, interact, and do SOMETHING with your life, your soul will develop, as will your brain, which will allow you to get more out of your soul while it is confined to the brain.  You see?

Also...this idea of the brain and soul developing together rules out reincarnation, a subject I've never been sure about.  If reincarnation is possible, then basically an already grown soul would somehow inhabit the new brain of the child before a soul began to develop.  I'm not sure how any of that would work...it's one of those things that you'll have to wait until death to find out, and in the meantime, use your own discretion.

Okay...I could go on and on, but I want to discuss something Jack did.  Human beings.  He says fundamentally, they are all evil, greedy, and stupid.  I disagree on some points.

Most humans are very stupid.  They really are.  They are lucky society was created by those who are a little smarter, or else they'd probably die off.  There is a small percentage that is of a high intelligence, although no human is REALLY intelligent on the Universal scale, I do believe.  We could be a lot smarter, and HOPEFULLY, someday will be.

Some humans are very greedy.  Some aren't greedy at all.  What we ALL are...is NEEDY, and I think that is something Jack is confused about.  Need and greed are different.  If I need food...I'll get food.  If I am greedy for food...I'll gather food even after I have enough.  I'll continue to crave it long after the need has been satisfied.  I'll be convinced I MUST have more food.  And more.  And more.  Humans, and other animals in nature, are not all greedy.  They are all NEEDY.

Humans, and nature, and the entire Universe, are not inherently evil.  That would be e-wrestling.  What humans are, are very needy, very stupid, and in this day and age, very spoiled.  Aside from that, they are not evil.  There is no real evil, to begin with.

I believe there is no Satan, and there is no real evil.  Humans become corrupt, through many means.  They develop addictions and fetishes, they forgoe their values to gain something, be it power or money or whatever, or perhaps they never had values at all in some cases.  But it's not as if Hitler one day just became "evil".  It's not as if he was born "evil".  He became corrupted over time through the downfall of Germany, his childhood, and the dose of mustard gas he received in World War I.  He was not "evil".  He was corrupt.

Now rest assured I am not forgiving Adolf Hitler or any other corrupted beings for their crimes.  I am just saying we cannot just label them as "evil" and move on.  They are all corrupted, they all were too weak to fight their corruptions, and they all must be punished.  I believe strongly in the death penalty- if you become corrupted, you've lost the priviledge of life.  You must be removed from the Universe, you must be killed, where hopefully, in the after life, you can realize your wrongs, right yourself, and someday be forgiven by those you hurt.  Of course we can't kill every one for every crime, but the same basic principle applies.  The corrupted individual must be punished, must realize their wrongs, must right them, and must beg for forgiveness.

The Devil doesn't tell anyone to do anything, he doesn't exist.  No one is corrupted by the "forces of Evil", they are just corrupted, period.  Corruption can be cured, and it can be forgiven.  It shouldn't be forgotten.

Alright.  I'm done for now.  Perhaps next time I'll discuss government, extraterrestrials, and all sorts of other things.

Thank you for your time.

I'm Out.
