Pittsburg road trip
Pittsburh as seen from the Ohio River.
This is the view from the hotel we stayed at the night of the wedding. It was beautiful. The second tallest building(half behind the tallest one) is the Mellon bank building where my dad worked in the mid 70's. This was around 10am saturday morning, it was a beautiful day around 55 degrees.
This is an area called Station Square. There was a cool little bohemian area about a mile from here off Carson st.
This is us on the way up to Pittsburgh. This is Louisville Ky.
There's not much to it. Needless to say we didn't stop to check it out.
This was taken on the way to Pittsburgh in Cincinatti. I wanted to stay here because I had a great time in cincinatti last year. We ended up cruising on to Columbus for the night instead. Kind of a cool live action picture though.
This was taken on the way back home from Pittsburgh in Charleston, WV. This is the biggest city in WV. It's about half the size of Baton Rouge. Again, we didn't stop, but it was a pretty area.
This was taken on the way home on the West Virginia-Virginia border. Right before this you pass through a tunnel and come out to this view. It was a beautiful part of the country. Living here in Houston makes you appreciate the mountains.
