These are some of my pictures of trains taken in Trenton Michigan.

The Amtrak test train, on its final trip North for the day, passes Toledo st. in Trenton Michigan. To me left is GTW's Edison Yard

At the very south end of Trenton, at signal D183, We see NS train TV21N. This train had a Wisconsin Central SD45, which is rare, but not uncommon to Michigan Winter 1999/2000

Within FN interlocker in trenton, we see train BNST, with an SD60M, headed North for Detroit. Summer 1999.

A few months BEFORE NS's takeover, we see train MGL passing train WDTR-01 at Trenton Yard, Trenton Michigan

Ending a pretty good day of downriver railfanning, I caught NS 49e,(STEL) heading south along Lathrop rd. in trenton, and by the Trenton Channel Plant (Detroit Edison). Also to my right, is the power used to run the coal trains in and out of this plant. Usually foreign or mixed power, it adds a hint of color to a drab NS railroad. Trains for the channel plant are: NS544, 545, 680, 681, CSX V918, V919, V960, and others that I cannot remember. Doesn't it suck having to use so many symbols for one train that Conrail called: UTM!?!?
