Looking
in his eyes

once you loved him

he filled your heart and mind

every moment’s thoughts were off him.
But
the road goes ever on
Through
valley, hill and wood
Leaving
now behind
The
crumbling garden wall
Discarded
treasure still
In
your heart once enflamed
A
love that went unnamed.
A
name that now unloved
In
your palm beats still.

That
another
Living
soul and mind
Is
bond unto that heart

Release,

No
kindness can be found
