Harold Halteman Baylor Medical Center Waxahachie. He was born in Lancaster to Charles Edward and Anna Violet Wyrick Halteman. He attended schools in Ovilla and Midlothian and was raised of the Baptist faith. Tom entered the US Army, 63rd Tank Battalion, October 2, 1953. Serving in Germany, he receiving an honorable Discharge October 1, 1956. A brilliant man, he was self-employed as an Oil Field Engineering Inspector.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, C.E. Halteman, Two Sisters, Anna reynolds, and Baby Deale, one sister in-law, Ann Halteman.

Survived by, son, David and Wife Kathryn Tidwell of Waxahachie, and three sons of the Dallas area, Grandchildren, Misty and David Cody Tidwell of Waxahachie, and a granddaughter of the Dallas area. One sister, Georgia and husband Ray Cavender of Ovilla, two brothers, Jack Halteman of Midlothian, and Paul Halteman and wife Betty of Venus, and several Nieces and Nephews. He also leaves behind numerous friends.
We miss you Grandpa Tom. We will always love you.

The family will receive friends and relatives 11-11:45 AM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Military Graveside services will be 1 PM Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.

 
     
 

Grandpa Tom, you were taken from us too soon and we will always miss you. Life just isn't complete without you. But you are with your mother now and that makes it alright. I love you with all my heart and wait for the day when I can see you again.
