Eric Mabius was born on April 21, 1971. His ethnic background includes Polish and Austrian descent. In his late teens he attended and graduated from Sara Lawrence College, where he studied film, dance, and sculpture. After performing in many stage productions, Eric landed a role in Welcome to the Dollhouse, an indie flick that raised some eyebrows. Later he was seen in many independent flicks, including Lawn Dogs, and Black Circle Boys. After appearing in several films, he was seen with Kathleen Robertsone in Splendor, and then as a closeted jock in Cruel Intentions. It was cruelty, and the vicious humor that drew him to be a part of the Cruel Intentions cast. After this role, he got the title part in The Crow: Salvation. This film, as well as many others is due out in 2000. Eric, although starting out slow, has put his career on high, appearing on the big screen and small screen, having a character on Party of Five, Millenium. He will definately be rising to stardom soon. Trivia
