We're looking for a few good singers! There's always room for another voice in our chorus.

A new prospective member will come to one of our rehearsals and will be given a brief audition so the director can place her in the right voice range. After singing with the chorus for a few weeks, she'll then (only when she feels ready) sing in a final audition to be sure she can carry a tune accurately and 'hold her part' while others are singing harmony.

At rehearsals, we learn new songs, learn simple choreography, and improve our vocal performance level. This requires a commitment to rehearse Monday nights and attend occasional special coaching sessions. To be a performing member of the chorus, a woman has to be willing to learn songs, attend most functions, pay International, Regional, and chapter dues, and help run the chorus. It's a tall order, but results in some really satisfying experiences -- the thrill of 'ringing' chords, entertaining people, a little travel, a little glamour, all in the company of fine women anyone would be proud to call “friend”.

We each have our own reasons we love being Crossroadies. Which one applies to you?

If you would like to pursue singing with us, drop an e-mail to [email protected].
