GUIDELINES FOR USE OF CROSSROADS CAMPGROUND
No one will be granted permission to hold an event for the purpose of selling goods to the public for a profit, such as : rummage sales, dinners, bake sales, etc., except the Board of Directors and Trustees for the support of the Crossroads Camp.

  ADULT IN CHARGE: Each group using the Center must designate an adult/leader who will be in cahrge of the activity, with responsibility fro the contact of the group, breakage or damage incurred, and condition of the facilities and grounds on departure.

  When youth groups are present, it is reccommended that there be at least one adult (21 years or older) for each ten (10) young people present.

  Each group will be responsible for losses of equipment, damage and breakage.

  The adult in charge will meet with the Camp Managers before the activity begins, so that there may be no misunderstanding about the use of the facilities. Before the group departs, the Camp Manager will make with the person incharge an inspection of the grounds and facilities, to determine whether they are being left in proper order.

  INSURANCE: Each group using the Center will be required to obtain insurance from the Camp Managers.

  TELEPHONE USE: The telephone at the Center is a private phone fort he use of the Camp Managers. It may be used for EMERGENCY CALLS with the permission of the adult in charge and the Camp Managers. No long distance calls, except collect.

  ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: All groups should arrive and depart within one hour of the time stated on the application form. Any group that finds it impossible to do this must make arrangements with the Camp Managers.

  RESPONSIBILITY FOR FACILITIES: The Little Kanawha District United Methodist Center was amde possible and is maintained by gifts from the United Methodist Churches and generous individuals of the Little Kanawha District. Each group using the facilities is expected to give them the best possible care and to leave them in a clean and orderly condition.

  All occupied cabins are to be kept clean, swept and free of trash daily.

  Restroom and/or showerhouses are to be cleaned daily and inspected by the adult in cahrge. Gorunds should be policed each day, and be kept free of litter.

  The furniture in the Lodge should be folded and stored in proper places at the close of each activity.

  Trash and garbage should be placed in proper recpetacles using plastic trash bags provided.

  Tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drugs are striclty prohibited on the Campgrounds.

  A final inspection will be made of the facilities used by the Camp Managers and the Event Director before the scheduled group leaves the grounds.

  A 1 1/2% service fee will be assessed to all invoices 30 past due.

  The group using the facility will be held responsible for all damages incurred while using the facilities.

  COOPERATION WITH THE CAMP MANAGERS: The Camp Managers are here to assist you in every possible way. Please call on them for help and information, so that your activity may be as enjoyable as possible.
