Description of Camp
:
Lodge and Kitchen:
A log structure with fireplace and a wrap around porch. The heated lodge sets approximately 100 for meals. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your meals.
Hurst Medical Building
: A heated and air-conditioned building with meeting room that will accommodate approx. 35 people. Kitchenette and two full bathrooms. Two seperate rooms that sleep three each.
Trinity Cabin
: A heated dormitory lodge with two individual rooms sleeping 15 on each side; the two rooms are connected by a kitchenette and each side has a full bath.
Hughes River Cabin
: A large one rrom cabin suited for a craft room or meeting room that would seat approx. 65 people. This cabin will also hold 18 beds.
Shower/Bath House
: A seperate heated shower and bath facility for women and men.
Green Cathedral:
An outdoor worship area with seating for approximately 100 people.
Campfire area:
An area for camp fire activities.
Recreational vehicles:
Full hookups for six recreational vehicles offering electric, water and sewage.
Recreation Area:
Ball fields, swings, volleyball and basketball. Lots of open space for outdoor activities.
Picnic Shelters:
There are two picnic shelters offered with one having a grill for a fire.
Directions to Campground:
Coming from Rt. 50:
Exit on Rt 31 North and the camp is 9 miles. The road has many curves. At approximately 8 1/2 miles you see a golf course on your left. The next road on your left is St Mary's Pike. Make a left and the camp sits immediately on your right. A sign is at the enterance of the camp.
Traveling I-77:
Exit on the Emerson Ave/Rt 2 exit and foolow Rt 2 North for 3 miles. Make a right on Rt 31 south and one block to St Mary's Pike. Turn right and immediately on your right is the sign for the camp enterance.
Coming South on Rt 2:
Turn on Rt 31 south (this is the same intersections as the Wood County Airport). Go one block and turn right on St Mary's Pike and immediately on your right is the sign for the camp enterance.
