Crossing Place
2003 Red Deer Writers Festival
Saturday, June 7
The 2nd Annual Red Deer Writers Festival held on Saturday, June 7 was another resounding success! It was a gorgeous, sunny day as fifty great writers from across Alberta - and even one from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - read at four venues in beautiful downtown Red Deer.

Message from Pat Horner:
On behalf of the Red Deer Writers Festival I'd like to thank everyone that
participated. Its an amazing feeling to hang out with and listen to so many
writers. I'm sad it doesn't happen every weekend. Personally, the day left
me inspired and rekindled my faith that there are a whole pile of good people out there who think writing is a pretty dam good way to spend your time.
We still have many copies of the anthology left. If you would like to
purchase some more please let me know ($10 + shipping). With all the talent
inside they will no doubt become collectors items in the near future, I'd
get your hands on as many copies as you can!
Take care,
Pat Horner
