| Truly blessed am I For I have seen an Angel. I see her now as I will see her always, Timeless, Ageless, Beautiful. How to describe her? My mere mortal mind balks at the concept. I am a man gifted with words, Yet no words of mine could possibly come close. Her Eyes? Like dark pools in misty forest glade, Deep and engrossing , you don?t find them, they find you. Once they have, you loose yourself in them, Wanting never to leave. Her Skin? Smooth as poured marble, Yet soft as a mother?s touch to her Newborn babe, And oh, so delicate. Her Lips? Soft as the down of a newborn chick, Yet just full enough to make you wonder Just what they felt like Her Smile? Sunshine. With the ability to brighten any room, Casting out any specters of gloom therein. And Her Hair? Heaven, Spun into pure strands Of beauty. She is beautiful, But not in a mortal way. She is beautiful in the eternal way, As is the sunrise, sunset, or the night sky. Let praise be given, Let all other poets be crazed with jealousy, Truly blessed am I, For I Have seen an angel. |
