I?ve been in the Air Force since January 5, 1988 (was 22 when I enlisted) and as of May 1, 2004 I?m a Master Sergeant (E-7). My first ten years in the Air Force were in Security Forces (Air Force Police Officer) and on January 4, 1998 I retrained into Manpower and Organization (which is like a Industrial Engineer for the Air Force).
I am currently stationed at Lackland AFB, Texas, working in the Air Intelligence Agency HQ, Plans and Programs. I have been stationed or deployed at the following locations while in the Air Force:
� Basic Training and Tech School, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas (two months)
� Air Base Defense Training, Fort Dix, New Jersey (one month)
� 7th Security Police Squadron, Carswell Air Force Base, Texas (six years)
� Deployed twice to Roswell Industrial Air Port, New Mexico (two weeks each)
� Deployed once to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska (one week)
� Deployed once to Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas (two weeks)
� 30th Security Police Squadron, Vandenberg Air Force Base, California (two years)
� 722d Air Base Squadron, Pirinclik Air Base, Turkey (one year)
� Special Security Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany (ten months)
� Manpower and Organization Training, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi (two months)
� 86th Airlift Wing, Ramstein Air Base, Germany (three years)

� Going out Dancing and Drinking with my friends; normally to Champs, Flying Saucer, Sherlock's, Dukes, Polly Esters, Midnight Rodeo, Cowboys, and Howl at the Moon
� Volunteering; I am mainly involved with my HOA, the military units on my base, AFSA and Top Three, but I have worked with Make-A-Wish and Toastmasters in the past
� Playing golf; normally play at Lackland, Alamo, and Cedar Creek, but want to try other courses in SA
� Reading science fiction and fantasy, but lately all I read is work-related technical stuff
� I like to travel, go camping, canoeing, and hiking, but I haven not done this since I arrived here in San Antonio; I would like to go to Big Bend
� I own a new house here in San Antonio and I like to work on the landscaping and improving the house; I have done several projects and have several to go
� I am big into computers (i.e., games, Internet, web design, and programming); I have even set up a LAN in my house (I think that's cool at least)
This year I was selected to represent the Air Intelligence Agency, the Air Force, and the Military as a Military Ambassador for the greater-San Antonio area. I, along with my female counterpart, Tiffani, visit schools and hospitals, participate in parades, and are involved in several military events. A large involvement is in San Antonio's Fiesta celebration in April, which is an awesome ten-day event that occurs in and around SA. There are also several pre and post events that occur around Fiesta. I am also currently the Vice President of the Lackland Chapter of AFSA and the current Vice President of my HOA, which keep me very busy. I want to try to get back involved with a local Toastmasters Club, but it has been difficult. This year will be busy with business trips about every month, AFSA and HOA activities, and my Ambassador responsibilities.
