When its not about our faces... page 12
DARK  NIGHTS AND THUNDERSTORMS

So cool, so calm, effortless charm
A faade used to disarm.
Yet the wall of obsession, depression, governing within,
Divides into two the very being.

This faade must be held true, be controlled
Or a mystery of existence starts to unfold.
Pulling through the depths of despair
Fighting to belong in a world that doesnt care.

In time, in line, following the rules intently
Yet always confounded by their complexity.
Allowing the rules to govern is no easy ride
But preferable to setting free whats inside

Dark nights and thunderstorms, explosions within
Crashing emotions projected sin.
But what do their eyes see? They sense no alarm.
Just cool, calm, effortless charm

Splash
THE ROOM

With style and grace,
She enters this place
A room full of woe,
A horror she bestowed.

With her head held high for the world to see
The emptiness within, not able to be free.
She smiles that smile, with her eyes shining bright
But inside this place, she will be crying tonight.

This place is a room with barren  walls
No one can see it, or hear her calls.
You see it is within her, her very own soul
Life has left scars on her, it has taken its toll.

You may see this woman everyday
Walking down the street or in a cafe,
She could be your boss, your friend or your foe
But without looking deeper you will never know.

A heart so sad, a room so bare.
Inside her soul, she is a solitare,
A gem, a diamond in a setting all alone.
Yet no one can see her beauty, as it is unknown.

So once in a while take a look around
See if that woman can be found.
She is within us can't you see
Everyone knows her, It is you and its me.
