ANTI BP POEM

I'll not succumb to this malaise,
I'll go about my usual ways.

And even though my mouth is sagging,
My Dalmatian's tail just keeps on wagging.

And even though my eyelid's drooping,
So far it hasn't affected my pooping.  LOL

And even though my face feels numb,
I know that I did nothing dumb.

I try to make my whole mouth smile,
It'll probably take a good long while.

I try to make my right eye blink,
And one day soon, it will, I think.

And when my eye begins to water,
Think pleasant thoughts about my daughter.

I try to pucker these lips of mine,
But my wife says I kiss just fine.

I hope these next few weeks fly by,
And movement returns to my right eye.

I feel quite weird in any place,
I hope it doesn't show on my face.

I feel like my good looks were stolen,
Perhaps real soon, I won't feel swollen.

And months from now when I feel well,
I'll tell BP to "go to Hell".

And now I feel better, if just for a while,
I hope I made some people smile.
