| THE POWER INSIDE Health is a question of give and take Having it is a blessing for blessings sake When it�s not perfect in perfection�s eye It becomes a means to make the spirit fly There are no bounds, no limits set On the challenges our spirits have met And holding the power to see The person inside, the person proud to be Though the image displayed in two dimensional view May upset, it fails in its portrayal of the real you. It fails in showing the soul and heart, Where your true beauty is the most important part. Her features hold a glow Her eyes a glint of the love we know Through her strength we conquer our own fears By her openness we are consoled with our own tears She reaches for others With features same as hers And raises them in their own bright spirit To know the beauty they too hold within it. Her tears are released in joy For the strength that will deploy The inner beauty that is displayed When that outer shell�s visage is betrayed. And so, as the night reaches an end Her eyes close easily, her heart her friend For no tears on this night need flow The beauty inside is all we need know. Tom Watson |
