| Airport pictures: Finally, at 9am Sept 1st, I flew out of Detroit Metro, saying goodbye to the world I knew for a year. As I looked back through the terminal entrance at the family I had just left, I finally cried. |

| Toronto: As a family bonding experience, Carey, Dad and I went to Toronto for a couple days and saw The Lion King on stage. We had pillow fights, and genuine bonding occured. |
