wrote a song about a cure
for depressed, unrest, and poor
     they rhymed EVERY phrase
     with words like mayonnaise
      ice trays, flora-dora days

they threw in a violin
for the underly-thin
     a conga drum for the over-plum
     a bass just in case
     Electric guitar for the bourgeois

rockritics famed it “The Best”
four stars for sheer zest
and they made a zillion guilders
    because it was
    like alltherest alltherest all the rest

This was written by the first Cronin Detzz, my mother.  We both shared disdain for top 40's music, and this poem reflects the distaste for musical crap.
