THE MIST IN THE MURKY MOOR

Inspiration
This was written after reading a Sherlock Holmes novel. Some of the
words were unfamiliar to me, so I looked them up in the dictionary and became
inspired by the definitions. The mist takes an an animal characteristic,
such as the fact that "it walked!!!"
Here is the text version:
the Mist pierced the moonlight
and blanketed the stars
and it
sat!!!
in the Mire
Mirthlessly laughing,
Sardonically calling
to the scree of nothing anywhere.
as a scorpiod it stung,
as an excited beast it frothed,
and it
walked!!!
down the goyal
and into the Moor
and no Mystagogue will ever touch
the Murderous Wonder
of the Mist in the Murky Moor.
