BEWITCHED

bewitched with the sweet scent of You
Your magic reforms the world into something new
     Your essence envelopes me
     Your warmth shines on me

entranced at how You rearranged the stars
with a wave of Your wand, clouds sink far
     the moon reflects Your light
the sun pales in your sight

this spell may be brief and fleeting,
but i'll dance anyway upon Your greeting
     thankful for our time
     sweet bells sing and chime

spellbound by your touch, wizards wish for such
i'm blessed by receiving from One who gives so much
     helpless to resist,
     my soul's been kissed

Inspiration
Sometimes after we spend time with someone, we can smell their fragrance lingering after they've gone: "bewitched with the sweet scent of You."  Being with the other person can seemingly make the rest of the world disappear: "Your magic reforms the world into something new...You rearranged the stars."  All of the words in this poem are lowercase except for reference to the subject of the poem ("You").
