Greetings! From my perch on the little finger of Lower Michigan, I dream Gaelic dreams of Atlantic storms. Of spending evenings by the peat fire with my Sweetie reading a book and listening to the wind whistle through the eaves. My dream became a reality with our trip to Ireland September/October 2000 for two full weeks. Just the two of us, a rented car and a cottage, walking distance from a night of music and Guinness in the local pub.

This dream becomes a reality with some faerie working overtime. Dearly departed Uncle "Ding", who had no children of his own, left his nephew (my Sweetie) a surprising inheritance....not large....but enough to enjoy a few pleasures. Eldest daughter had a great old car (until it got too many dings {sorry}. Next daughter went to Paris with her classmates, and now Mom and Dad get to enjoy our 21st year together in a tiny cottage with wind and sea for company. This site will eventually contain tales of our gifts.
My tribute to Uncle Ding (to whom I am not related and never met), and the goodness of the Universe.
A fortune teller once told me that I would never be rich but would have enough money to "boogey", which is Midwestern for the Gaelic "craic". Of course she was wrong. I've had the richest life possible which will be evident as these pages unfold.
