Many professions that create products require you to go out and find things to create them from. Sometimes these materials are hard to find, sometimes they're easy. Where you can find the materials is listed in this guide.

1. Wood: Wood can be found just about anywhere, except settled areas like towns and villages.
It just takes a quick walk outside of town to find the wood you need.

2. Stone: Stone, like wood, is very common, and can be found anywhere except towns and
villages.

3. Field Metals: These are basic metals used in the creation of many objects. They can be
found in Termina Field.

4. Swamp Wood: The wood from the Southern Swamp has special qualities that normal wood
doesn't have. The trees in the swamp, having been nurtured by the plant-like Deku, have
connection with the power of the earth and hold magical powers.

5. Woodfall Cattails: The swampy Woodfall crater holds an abundance of vegetation, most
notably the Woodfall Cattail.

6. Silver: Look for silver in the Beaver's Dam of the Great Bay. Only those with climbing or
hookshot abilities can reach the dam where this precious metal lies.

7. Gold Dust: Gold can be found only on the Goron Racetrack in the Snowhead Mountains. The
dust that it can be crushed into allows for stronger weapons.

8. Coral: Coral is a common item in the Great Bay, used for many fashionable Zoran items.

9. Hot Spring Water: Hot Spring Water is found in caverns in Snowhead. The boiling hot water
has been melted from snow near thermal vents and pooling in these caverns.

10. Seashells: Seashells are found in abundance both along the shore of the Great Bay and
   underwater.

11. Sand: Sand can either be found on the Great Bay or in West Termina Field. Divers can also
    find it on the bottom of the Gerudo Lagoon.

12. Stone of Truth Piece: Stones of Truth can be found in Termina Field.

13. Holy Stone: Holy Stones are very rare, and thus is takes twice the normal collecting time to
    find a decent supply of them.

14. Blue Mushroom: Used to make Blue Potion. Has a strong scent. Found in the Southern Swamp.

15. Purple Herb: Used to make Purple Potion. It is found in North Termina Field.
