RELIGION
One of the newest features of the MMRPG is religion. When a character partakes in a religion, their entire behavior changes. Every day they follow in the teachings of their religion, and sometimes will even fight for what they believe. This section details the rules and guidelines for religions, and also what benefits come out of them. No religion has any connection one in the real world, nor is it meant to lessen them through this section.
CREATING A RELIGION
For a religion to start, the idea behind it must first be made. The person who creates a religion can take the form of a "Prophet", and can be one who convinces others to join. Each religion should have unique beliefes; what is right and what is wrong? Is there a higher power involved? Certain themes work well, too. For example, the Ikana, who focus on necromancing and death, would do well to have a religion that deals with death.

Once the idea and basics of the religion are formed, the prophet should go around and attract followers. Once a religion has 6 followers, the belief is high enough for it to become an official religion. Official religions gain special powers that are listed below.

PRACTICING A RELIGION
Once a religion is established, it needs to be continually practiced to gain any benefits. Establishing how it is pacticed is usually the decision of the prophet. Here are a few things to consider.

How often is it practiced?
The more often you practice, the more power you can gain, but people grow tired of attending if it happens too often. You need to hit the spot just where people will tolerate going that frequently while still pulling in lots of power. Also keep in mind that people tend to donate more when it's been a while. You can have a maximum of four practicings per week. In the same category, how long do you practice? The minimum is 10, but it does not allow for a very exotic ceremony.

Where is it practiced?
In a chuch, out in a field, at a special worship site? The possibilities are many.

How is it practiced?
Like the location, this offers much freedom. Is it a basic ceremony with hymns and prayer, or is it a dark ritual with sacrifices and chanting?

WORSHIP POWER
Worship Power, or WP, is gained through a variety of different sources. Below are the different ways to raise your WP flow, with how much WP points you receive. In return for WP points, special magical events can occur (listed in the next section).

1. Followers: 10 points
For each follower you have attending a normal day of worship, you will receive ten WP points. This is your most important source of WP points, so attracting a large number of followers is very helpful.

2. Donations: 1 point
For each rupee donated to the church, you will receive 1 WP point. This encourages people to give money, which is a religious leader's income.

3. Special Ceremonies: 15 points
Every three weeks, each religion may have one special ceremony. These large events often are held in wide open areas with special infrastructure. Dancing, chanting, singing, and the like are oftentimes done in masses. Because of the gran nature of these ceremonies, each person attending will give off 15 points of WP.

4. Animal Sacrifice: 10 points
Animal sacrifices are less controversial than human sacrifice, and is accepted by many religions except those the most pure. Each animal sacrificed amounts to 10 points of WP. Only one Animal sacrifice can be performed at each ceremony. Acceptable animals are Cuccos, Dogs, Cows, and Horses.

5. Human Sacrifice: 500 points
The single highest way to boost your WP points, human sacrifice will quickly rocket your WP to higher levels. All of the good and righteous religions look down upon this practice, and the lose of a life is definitely a large loss indeed. However, the incredible point gain is undeniable. Only PCs can be sacrificed; NPCs do not give any point value. To sacrifice someone, they must be captured and taken to the worship site (so you must perform careful Combat). They can also go along willingly if they'd like.

DIVINE MIRACLES
After certain amounts of WP points are gained, they can be traded in for Divine Miracles. These miracles tap the power of the religion and provide wondrous happenstances. However, miracles tend to benefit the race mor tha nthe religion.

200 WP POINTS: Rains of the Heavens
The Rain of the Heavens refreshes all people of a certain race, as if they had just eaten a chef-grade meal and rested in a building. The effects last for two days. It also waters any crops in the territory, making them yield twice the number of crops they normally would.

300 WP POINTS: Gift of Magic
With 250 WP points, a group of 3 characters can increase their maximum magic capacity by 10 MP.

500 WP POINTS: Gift of Materials
This gift will make sure that no one needs to gather materials for 3 weeks. Materials are magically placed in their area of work.

1,000 WP POINTS: Personal Shield
This miracle gives every person in the race +1 DS for three days, including NPCs, while they are in their own territory. Particularly useful if a Battle is coming up.

1,500
WP POINTS: Life
With 1,000 WP points, there is enough energy to resurrect one character from the dead. This character will retain all of the skills they knew when they died, but any possessions taken from them are gone. Note the player of the character must be willing to play the resurrected character and the resurrected character alone.

4,000 WP POINTS: Territorial Shield
This shield covers all of the territory of a race. No one can enter the shield, including those that have left and wish to re-enter. This also means that no one can attack. This spell lasts for 2 days.

7,500 WP POINTS: Hurricane
The devastating Hurricane will wreak havoc on races that aren't prepared. It will level 50% of the buildings in the area that are not reinforced with stone. This can severely damage any race, and is the fear of many.
