The land of Termina is not an entire world. To the west lies a great ocean, to the north snowy mountains, to the east barren wastelands, and to the south vast expanses of forest. Since there is nothing in these areas as far as the eye can see, they have generally been left unexplored.
So, what lies beyond? Mysterious locations can be found, but no other species or race lives outside of Termina (unless an SBM declares there is). Therefore, any exploring done will only reveal places, not people.
Hyrule and Termina are officially connected to one another, but your character cannot travel between the two. This means no characters can originate from Hyrule, either. Termina is nto connected to any other Zeld world; you won't find Koholint Island if you sail out into the Great Bay. |
