INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the site for the MMRPG Version 4.0. Because you have come here, you are no doubt interested in participating in the fine game I and others have constructed. The introduction portion of this site will help you get to know what the MMRPG is about and the history behind it.
What is the MMRPG?
Simply put, the MMRPG is a role-playing game for Majora's Mask. That's what MMRPG stands for. To go into more detail, each person has a character. They control that character in an imaginary world shaped like Termina of Majora's Mask. The character will interact with other characters and do various things. There are no pictures in the MMRPG, only tect. You describe your character's action with words and go around from place to place by saying so. While it may not be as high-tech as a massively multiplayer online RPG, it can be just as fun and the roots are the same.

Where is the MMRPG played?
The MMRPG has traditionally beem played at the Zelda Games: Social Board at GameFAQs. However, with the oncoming of Version 4.0, I've made a bold decision to move the MMRPG to its own board at EZBoard. This allows for many more boards for each part of Termina and more lenient rules for posting. I personally feel this is for the best in the RPG, and you probably will too once you see the results.

How long has the MMRPG been around?
Version 1.0 of the MMRPG started around the beginning of January  in 2001. The idea for it surfaced in as early as November 2000. Version 1.0 was quickly stopped because of the disorganization and overall anarchy in it. Version 2.0 surfaced in February, and was much popular due to complete rules. Soon afterwards, Version 3.0, with new additions and such came into play. 3.0 lasted the longest of all the version. After people started getting bored of Version 3.0, it looked like the MMRPG was doomed. Key players had left and things weren't too exciting. However, a radical new idea, Version 3.0RN, surfaced, which started the game backwards: the Terminians controlled all, while the races rebelled for freedom. While a solid concept that could possibly work beautifully, the players tended to favor Version 3.0 more. Thus, Version 4.0 has arrived, going back to the Normal gameplay of the originals.

How do I join the MMRPG?
Send an e-mail to [email protected] that contains all of the things required in the Character Creation section. Be sure to throughly read over the site first, a good knowledge of the game is essential.

Do I have to read all these rules?
Yes, you do. Many people carelessly skip over reading the large number of things on the site, and thus start playing with no idea what is going on. Knowing the rules will not only benefit others, but yourself as well. Knowing how to play will make the experience much better.

Why is this so complicated?
Rules are needed to keep everything orderly, under control, and fun to play. Without set rules, there will be total anarchy. Version 1.0 is proof of this. Rules are your best friend.

What makes Version 4.0 better than the previous ones?
All other versions of the MMRPG are based on the original set of rules I created. While Version 4.0 still borrows from these, I've rebuilt everything from the ground up. When I first created the MMRPG, I couldn't have possibly known what things could work out, which things would be useless, and which things would tip the balance in favor of one of the races. With Version 4.0, I've carefully re-evaluated everything, changing and adding things where necessary. I think you may be pleseantly surprised.

Why did you decide to change 4.0 back to the normal style and not RN?
I think that the first version was not only more fitting for the RPG (it was created around the concept, you know), but also was more popular. But fret not, RN lovers. Rebellion has always played a key role in the normal style, it's hjust that people didn't utilize it. There are still many RN aspects in 4.0, and even very similar gameplay under certain situations.
