After Lucky and Nikolas exited the make-shift stage, Robin got on and took a microphone. It had been a long time since she had last gotten on the stage at the Nurse's Ball, but she was doing it now. From the stage she saw all the people whom she loved and cared about. Mac and Felicia were there with Maxie. Luke and Laura were there with Lucky, Nikolas, Liz, and Gia. She also saw the Quartermaines. Edward, Lila, Alan, Monica, AJ, Emily, Ned, and Alexis. She saw Jax. She also saw Stefan watching. On the other side of the room she saw the people who hated her. Sonny, Carly, and Jason. Robin knew for a fact that they all still hated her, but she didn't care. She was there for a reason: To honor Stone, and no one was going to stop her, not Sonny, Carly, or Jason. "For those of you who don't know me, my name is Robin Scorpio and I'm HIV positive." ~~~ Backstage he listened as Robin talked about her and Stone. He smiled. He was going to have some fun with his enemies. He looked down at the dead man at his feet and gave the dead eyes an evil, dark, twisted smile before walking onto the stage. He came up behind Robin and grabbed her. She dropped the mic as he put a knife to her throat. He smiled again as he heard several gasps come from the audience. And again as he saw Luke, Mac, Lucky, and Taggert begin to approach the stage. "Come any closer and you'll be cleaning up blood," he sneered. The four men stopped in their tracks. They were trying to think of a way to distract him when they heard a gunshot. Everyone looked towards the opposite end of the stage as two people emerged from behind the curtain. More gasps came from the crowd. The man only smiled more. "Let her go Faison." "Why should I Jones?" Frisco glared at him before looking at his companion. She raised her eyebrows and walked right over to Faison. She was ten feet away from him. In a quiet voice, she spoke to him in Russian. "Let my daughter go now." "Oh, my prescious Anna. Are we still playing these games?" "You're the only one playing Faison. I quit a long time ago." She looked away slightly at the man who was waiting for her to make her move. Anna took a deep breath and lunged at Faison, forcing him to push Robin away. Frisco grabbed her and pushed her to the ground as he pulled out his weapon. He noticed that Faison had pulled out a gun as well. A single shot rang out. Followed by several more. Mac and Taggert drew their own weapons and jumped onto the stage. As the smoke cleared two more men came from behind the curtain. One went over to a fallen Anna while the other went to Faison. Frisco and Robin joined the group. "Anna? Anna, Luv are you all right?" Mac recognized the heave Aussie accent almost immediatly as Alan and Monica got on the stage. Luke and Lucky joined them. "Robert?" Mac asked. He looked up from Anna and looked at his little brother. He smiled slightly before focusing on Anna. "He's dead," Sean Donelly declared walking towards the group. He looked at Frisco. "I thought you said he only had the knife?" "He did, until he killed the security guard backstage," Frisco said. Sean nodded before turning towards Robert and Anna. Robert had moved away only to allow Alan and Monica to work on her. ~ "What just happened?" Jason asked. Sonny shook his head. "Little Miss-Goody-Two-Shoes is getting the attention and pity of the entire town. What else?" Carly said. Jason glared at her before standing up and walking towards the stage. Hw had to know if Robin was okay. ~ "Does every Nurse's Ball end in an emergency?" Gia asked Nikolas. "Usually." "Okay," Gia said. ~ "Mom, what just happened?" Maxie asked Felicia. "I don't know, but it looks as if Robin's family just came back from the dead." ~ Someone had brought in a gurney. Two nurses helped Alan and Monica lift Anna onto it. They rushed Anna down to the hospital. Robert, Robin, Sean, Frisco, Mac, Luke, and Laura followed. Laura noticed that Robin didn't seem at all fased by her parents' return from the dead. No one noticed Jason follow the family down stairs to the hospital. He was worried about Robin. He saw her walk away but he was still worried about her, he still needed her. ~~~ In the surgery waiting room, Mac started to demand answers from Robert and Robin who only laughed at him. He wasn't very happy about being kept in the dark about the situation, but even angrier that Luke knew everything. "Why did you tell Luke instead of me?" Mac demanded. "Because Luke knew how to keep it a secret," Robert replied, getting a glare from his younger brother. Mac was about to say something when Monica walked over to them. "Well, Robert," she paused, "Anna and the baby are fine." "BABY?" Mac almost screamed. Robert tuned him out. "There's more?" "Yes, the baby, she's two months pre-mature, but she's healthy." "And Anna?" "Is resting. The bullet hit her abdomen which forced us to take the baby." Robert nodded. Robin breathed a sigh of relief and hugged her father. Monica led them to the room where Anna was. Robert smiled and went over to his wife. "It's finally over Luv," he whispered in her ear. Robin smiled and went over to the crib where her baby sister was sleeping peacefully. She gently picked her up and took her over to Robert. He smiled. "What are you naming her?" She asked. "Hope." "Hope?" "Yes. Do you like it?" "I love it," Anna said waking up. Robert smiled at his wife. Robin smiled at her parents and little sister before leaving the room. She saw Mac yelling at Luke so she decided to go another way. She wasn't paying attention and ran into Jason. "Jason," she said coldly moving away from him. Mac's yelling was becoming more and more tempting by the second. "Robin, are you okay?" "I'm fine Jason, but since when do you care?" "Robin..." "Don't Jason." She started to walk away when he grabbed her arm. He pulled her close to him. Her eyes widened in surprise as his lips came crashing down on hers. She started to fight but melted into his arms. It felt like the most natural thing in the world. He finally pulled away. "Robin, I'm sorry, for everything." She didn't meet his eyes. "I want to work this out, to work on us." She finally looked, her eyes were filling with tears. "Can we go get some coffee and talk?" He asked. She nodded and allowed him to lead her away. THE END |
