| Chapter 2 "Robin Scorpio?" Dimitri asked. Edmund nodded. "She's in the medical program." "I wonder how she's connected to Alex." ~~~ "It's a long story Sonny," Stormy said. "So?" She sighed. "Robin has been kidnapped." "How long?" "A week. The guy was in her house when she came home, he shot Robert and grabbed her." "Do you know who he is?" "Yes, he's Mario Torres. His twin sister, Maria, was shot and killed by the PCPD." "You think he's retaliating against Mac." She nodded. "He's based here in PC. Since it's not... well wasn't public knowledge that Mac is my brother, we figured that I could get into town under a sound cover and look around." "A 'torrid affair' is your sound cover?" "Hey, it was all I could think of at the time. But Sonny, you have to admit that the look on Mac's face was unforgettable." He smiled. "It was. Mac's probably going to kill you once this is all over." "Probably." "What are you going to do about Torres?" "Simple. I use my contacts to find out where he is and find out if Robin's there." "And still manage to keep your cover?" "I've had worse covers," she said smiling. ~~~ The next day Stormy woke up in spare bedroom in Sonny's penthouse. She went down stairs and saw that he had already left for the day. She sighed and went into the kitchen to find that Sonny had fixed her coffee. "Sonny is still my husband," Carly said to Johnny as she pushed past him and came into the penthouse. She slammed the door shut. "SONNY!" Stormy came out of the kitchen, coffee in hand. "He's already left for the day," she told Carly. "Who the hell are you?" Carly demamded. Stormy offered Carly her hand. "Stormy Scorpio." ~~~ Dimitri and Erica were having breakfast when Edmund walked in. He handed a file to his brother. "I found this on Robin Scorpio," he said sitting down. Dimitri read over the file. Everyone at the table looked up when someone entered. "Hi," Zoe Basil said. She noticed the look on everyone's faces. "Is something wrong?" "Hello Zoe, when did you get back from your trip?" Erica asked. "This morning. Has something happened?" Dimitri returned to reading the file. "Actually Zoe, someting has." ~~~ "What are you doing in MY husband's penthouse?" Carly asked. "Maybe you should ask YOUR husband." "Look..." Carly was cut off by the door opening to reveal Mac. He saw his sister first. "Stormy. Carly." "Great," Stormy said sarcastically. Carly looked from Mac to Stormy before leaving. Stormy almost burst out laughing. "That was fun." Mac closed the door. "Stormy, we need to talk." ~~~ "What?" Zoe asked, sitting beside Dimitri. "Alex might be alive," Erica said, displeasure showing in her voice. "That's a good thing," Zoe said. "She has a connection to Robin Scorpio." "Who?" "Robin Scorpio," Dimitri repeated. "Do you know who she is?" Zoe quickly recovered. "No." "I'm going to Port Charles to talk to Mac Scorpio," Dimitri said rising from his seat. Zoe rose quickly too. "I'll go with you," she said. "So will I," Edmund said. "Well as much as I want to go, I do have a business to run," Erica said standing. She gave Dimitri a kiss on the cheek before she left. Edmund was on the phone arranging the plane when Stella came in. "Ms. Basil, a package arrived for you." She set the a large envelope on the table in front of Zoe and left the room. ~~~ "About what, big brother?" Stormy asked sipping her coffee. "About what you're doing here." "I told you last night," she replied smiling. "You're a good liar, but not nearly as good as Robert." "What does that mean Mac?" "I got a call last night. Where's Robin?" ~~~ Sonny sat behind his desk and sighed heavily as Carly walked in. "Why don't you explain to me why you're dating another Fed whore?" She demanded. ~~~ Zoe picked up the envelope. She knew enough not to judge a book by its cover. She slowly glanced the envelope over before opening it. She glanced through the items inside. Just file folders. She sighed. "It's nothing," she said aloud. But she knew that what was in the envelope was very important, she just couldn't let anyone else know it. "When do we leave?" ~~~ Stormy sucked in a breath. "Robin's at school." "Don't lie to me Stormy." "I'm not lying Mac," she said. "I tried to call her last night and the night before. No answer." "She works nights." "What are you hiding Stormy?" "Nothing." She took another sip of her coffee. "You might want to leave before Sonny shows up." "I'll leave when you answer my questions." "Mac leave," Stormy ordered. The door of the penthouse opened and Alexis and Courtney walked in. "Answer my question Kenda," Mac demanded, not caring that Alexis and Courtney had entered. "No." "Kenda." "Malcolm." "Fine then. I'll go visit her at school." "Go ahead. Good luck getting within a hundred feet of her though." "And why is that little sister?" "No reason." He raised his eyebrows. She cocked her head to the side and looked at him. He threw his hands up in frustration. "I'll be in touch Kenda," he said walking to the door. "Sure you will Malcolm." He left, slamming the door behind him. She shook her head and took another sip of her coffee turning her attention to the new arrivals. "Alexis, Courtney," she said politely. ~~~ "I don't think that my personal life is your business anymore. And do not call Stormy a whore." "That's what she is," Carly said. "Hell, she can't even keep her cover." Sonny sat back in his chair as Carly continued. "The Commissioner showed up when Johnny was right outside. How can you sit here and tell me that she's not a fed?" "Mac is her brother," Sonny said calmly. "You're sleeping with Mac Scorpio's sister?" "My personal life is none of your business Carly," he replied. She glared at him one last time before she left. |
