This photo, dated in the early 1900s, is of the home John Newquist built in the late 1800s or early 1900s in Steger, a town about 30 miles south of Chicago. John and Jenny lived here until their deaths, John in 1937 and Jenny in 1943. The house still stand today, although it is no longer owned by the Newquist family.
